Emmaus Meeting (Monthly)

Last Sunday of each month at 2:30 pm
Notre Dame Convent / Retirement Home
1921 Snake Road, Burlington, ON

This is an open discussion meeting for anyone with an interest in alcoholism and the A.A. program of recovery.

This is a small once a month meeting in support of one of our members, who is a resident of the retirement home. All are welcome to join us.

We begin each meeting with the Serenity Prayer followed by a reading of the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. Each meeting ends with the Lord’s Prayer.

The format of the meeting is an open topic (as it relates to alcoholism and recovery) discussion.

For those who like a coffee or tea with your meetings, please be sure to bring your own. As this is a small meeting, we never know whether we will have 3 people or 12 show up.

We do not collect a Seventh Tradition at this meeting.

The Notre Dame Convent / Retirement Home is located on Snake Road, just West of Waterdown Road and South of Dundas Street. Parking is at the rear of the Retirement Home and the meeting entrance is at the back door. Look for the sign that says “Emmaus”.

For those who wish, the grounds are available to walk. Often you will see wild turkeys and deer. If you wish to walk the grounds, just mention so at the meeting.
